Buttered Rum Coffee
Ingredients: 1/3 cup of ground coffee 1/4 tsp of freshly ground nutmeg 1 1/4 tsp of rum extract 1/8 tsp of liquid butter flavouring
How To: Place coffee and nutmeg in a blender. In a cup,combine remaining ingredients. With the food processor running, add the flavorings. Stop processor and scrape sides of container with a spatula. Process 10 seconds longer and store in the refrigerator. Good for eight 6-ounce servings
Cafe Au Lait also known as Coffee with Milk
Ingredients: 1 cup Milk 1 cupLight cream 3 tbsp of freshly brewed coffee
How To: Over low heat or in double boiler, heat milk and cream till hot. Before serving, beat milk mixture with rotary beater-till foamy. Pour milk mixture into one warmed pitcher or server, and coffee in another. To serve: Fill cups from both pitchers at the same time, making the streams meet en route. Makes 6 servings.
Louisiana Cafe Au Lait
Ingredients: 2 cups of milk Sugar 1 cup of Louisiana coffee with chicory
How To: Pour milk into saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour freshly brewed hot coffee and milk simultaneously into cups; sweeten with sugar to taste.
